Burning Tree and Acton Rd water main upgrade
Residents of the Burning Tree/Acton Rd area that have been dealing with the upgrade of the water main will be happy to hear that it is coming to an end as of Friday, April 11, 2008. The issues you have been dealing with will be subsiding. Our contractor, Albanese Brothers is currently installing 2 new hydrants and this job will be considered complete. We will continue to flush the effected areas to clear out any residual left over discoloration in the main. Please flush your outside line to clear your residence. Flushing a hydrant in front of or near your residence will not clear your house plumbing out. If the problem continues into the weekend feel free to call the Chelmsford Water District at 978-256-2931 and someone will be available to assist you.
