Dear Residents,
The Chelmsford Water District will be looping the water main between
New Fletcher Street and New Spaulding Street. Looping these streets
will eliminate 2 dead end mains and greatly increase the water quality
in this neighborhood. Construction will start on New Fletcher, progress down
Cove Street, and then complete the loop at New Spaulding.
Starting on Thursday, August 20th there will be a disruption in your water
service so we can install a gate and move some services due to the construction.
We will strive to keep the disruptions to a minimum during this construction,
but there will be times that the water is discolored during this work.
The best course of action would be to flush your outside line if you do have discoloration.
We appreciate your patience during this work as the end result will be well worth the small inconvenience of the construction process.
