Are you selling your home?

Please have your real estate agent or attorney contact the District office no later than one week prior to the date of closing so a Final Water Meter Reading can be done.  Final water readings are done on Tuesday and Thursday each week.

When you contact us we will need the following information:
 

1. Date of Closing
2. Address of property you are selling
3. Buyer's Name
4. Closing Attorney's Name, Phone, & Fax Numbers

Once the final water reading is done, the Chelmsford Water District will produce a final bill and fax it to the closing attorney.  We will also share the closing information with the Chelmsford Sewer Department.  They will generate a final sewer bill and fax that information to the attorney.
