Conditions to move Level 1 to Level 2?

The Chlemsford Water District uses known measurable factors to make the decision to change restriction levels of the Summer Management Program.

The following four factors give the District's staff guidance when the levels need to change:

1. Storage Tank Levels — Infrastructure measurement
2. Static Well Depth — Infrastructure measurement
3. Rainfall/Precipitation Data — Environmental measurement
4. Stream Gauge Data — Environmental Measurement  

These above mentioned factors allow for a pro-active effort which helps us to safe guard the water resources, controls the daily demand of water and guarantees that there is sufficient water supply and flow at all times.
