Go Green

Pay & View Water Bills Online!

The Chelmsford Water District is excited to offer residents an easy, convenient and “green” method to pay water bills online!

Though the ability to make payments online using eBill is not new, the Water District has just started offering new, eco-friendly online options.  Residents can sign up for paperless billing and access an electronic copy of their water bill(s) online.

These new “go green” options are an offering from MCC, a local Massachusetts company the Water District has been working with for the past three years.  MCC’s goals are to provide eco-friendly solutions and help the District save on printing/mailing costs.

To make payments and opt out of receiving a paper bill, residents must sign up for a Chelmsford Water eBill account online.  After sign up is completed and the eBill account is activated, residents can search for their bill(s), view PDF copies of their bills, pay by e-check (ACH) or credit card, and sign up for paperless billing.  Residents can also sign up for email or text reminders when a new bill has been made available online.

The new service offerings are the initiative of the Chelmsford Water District officials who say the service will be a benefit to all.  Residents will have another avenue to pay their bills that is secure and accurate and the Water District will benefit from the ease of posting payments electronically and save on mailing/printing costs.
