Special District Meeting

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

Wednesday, August 19, 2020
7:00 PM

Pursuant to Gov. Baker’s emergency Order modifying the State’s open-meeting law issued March 12, 2020, this special meeting will be held using remote participation as follows:

Members of the public that are registered voters in the District may vote at the meeting via Zoom.
Those wishing to register to vote or speak at the meeting shall register to attend in advance of the meeting by sending an e-mail to: Lisa@chelmsfordwater.com

The deadline for registering for the special meeting is 2:00 p.m. on August 17, 2020.

Special Warrant:
ARTICLE 1: To see if the District will vote to authorize the Board of Water Commissioners to acquire by purchase, from Joan H. Doyle and Jane A. Hennessy approximately a 41.16 acre parcel of land located at 24 Misty Meadows Road described in a deed recorded in the Middlesex North County Registry of Deeds at Book 1542, Page 283; for the sum of $950,000.00 and to raise and appropriate, borrow or transfer from available funds, $1,000,000.00 for the purchase and expenses for purposes of public water supply and well/water shed protection, or take any other action relative thereto.
