PFAS Funding Announcement

The District would like to announce that it has, through its engineer AECOM, submitted a funding request to the Clean Water Trust State Revolving Fund (SRF)  in August 2023. The SRF funding is in the form of a 0% interest loan with the possibility of a portion of the loan being eligible for some principal forgiveness. The Intended Use Plan (IUP) of selected projects is expected to be announced by sometime in early 2024. The funding request encompasses treating all of the District's water to continue its commitment to equally treat all of the District's water provided to meeting the highest standards for all of the water takers of the District. Although the SRF selection process is competitive, the District has a high confidence of our request being accepted due to our proactive actions to date.
