Rate Increase Effective 1.1.2024
Due to inflation and the consistent increases in materials, chemicals, fuel and services, along with regulatory mandates, the District unfortunately needs to increase water rates. The District continues to be fiscally responsible and forward thinking as we work through unprecedented issues as they pertain to the water industry. We extend our gratitude to our customers for their commitment towards water conservation and education.
On October 18, 2023, in a meeting of the Chelmsford Water District Commission, the Commission voted unanimously to increase the water rates as listed in the table below.
This rate change will be used to calculate billing on January 1, 2024 and all bills thereafter.
