Draft Intended Use Plan for Drinking Water State Revolving Fund

UPDATE: The MassDEP Intended Use Plan is now FINAL and we are please to have placed 2nd on this list of important projects. To all interested parties:

MassDEP is pleased to present the Final 2024 Intended Use Plans (IUPs) detailing the projects, borrowers and amounts that will be offered financing through the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan programs for this year’s financing cycle.  Please see attached announcement.

The District is excited to announce that it has placed 2nd on MassDEP 2024 Draft Intended Use Plan for Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. The purpose of the DWSRF program is to assist Public Water Suppliers to implement the requirements of the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act.

The SRF funding is in the form of a 0% interest loan with the possibility of a portion of the loan being eligible for some principal forgiveness.   

Please see the preliminary schedule developed by the District and our partner, AECOM which started in January, 2022 and continues until project completion expected June, 2028.
